Doula Services
Free Consultations
If you are interested in hiring me to be your doula I offer a free consultation. We can arrange to meet in a place of comfort for you, be that a home, coffee shop, or a park. We can also arrange virtual consultations.
The goal of this is simply to see if I am a good fit for you and your family. There is no obligation to hire me at this time, and I encourage you to interview multiple doulas while building your birth team.
What I Offer
As a doula, but I bring a wealth of personal experience, and information. I offer physical and emotional support, and education. I love seeing families grow, and I believe as a doula I can serve not only mothers, but birthing partners as well.
In my own personal experience I have had an unplanned cesarean, then two unmedicated births. All three of my birth stories are incredibly unique. As a result I am passionate about VBAC and unmedicated birth. Even more so I am passionate about birthing women and families being respected, cared for, and given evidence based information and care so they can make the decisions that are best for their family.
As Your Doula
As your doula I will be on call from 37 weeks until birth. We will have at least one visit prenatally. I will be accessible to you via text or call at any time. During your birth I will join you wherever you are, whenever you need me, and I will stay with you until your baby is in your arms and you are feeling safe and secure. I offer a postpartum visit where we can review your birth and I will be available postpartum for call and text support as well.
Current Doula Fees:
Planned Community Birth (home or birth center): $850-$1,400
I am currently unavailable for planned hospital births.
I am offering a sliding scale for my doula fee so that I may be able to serve families with a range of current income. This also allows me to offer discounted rates to families who may be struggling financially.
I have chosen to leave the amount paid to the discretion of families, and I will never ask you about your personal finances, or why you chose to pay a certain amount.
